Fourth O July O-Relay

Big Opdate to the Fourth O July O-Relay event coming up on Saturday, July 6th — it will be on the UNCA campus, and it will feature FLAGS and E-PUNCHING for the first time!

Some details changes, since we are now constrained by the number of finger sticks we (currently) have, which is 20. If attendance approaches capacity, maybe some soloists can team up so we can have up to 40 folks participate.

1. Two courses, a short and a long
2. Two person teams split the courses between them and share one finger stick to post their total time
3. Soloists run both courses and use one finger stick to post their total time as a “One-Person Relay”
4. Map fee is $10 and includes BOTH course maps. Finger stick rental is $5. Basically, soloists pay $15 and can run both courses. Teams of two pay $15 and run one course each
5. If you don’t care about timing and wish to participate anyway, map fee is the usual $10 but includes both courses. Your name will not be listed in the online timing results, but will be included in the Facebook results post.
6. New Start/Finish area will be smack dab in the middle of campus, under a shade tree on the grassy quad 😎 so bring a lawn chair or blanket!
7. This will be a MASS START for both teams and soloists, and we will be running the short course first, then the long course.
