Please join us at the Guion Farm Access Area area during the DuPont Forest Festival on Saturday, September 28th for your choice of two orienteering courses!

Find us among the other canopies near the farm house and picnic shelter in the main field north of the parking lot.

TWO COURSES

• Beginner Course – 2.2 Km and 6 control points. Super easy. You might finish in under an hour.
• Not-Beginner Course – 6.5 Km and 15 control points. Not at all easy, with moderately difficult navigation. You might finish.

If there is interest, a short introduction to map reading and land navigation will be given at 10:30am.

This event is FREE, but donations are very much appreciated — thank you!

Timing will be electronic, so if you have a SPORTident finger stick, please bring it! If you don’t have one (most people don’t,) one will be provided for you in exchange for some collateral to make sure it doesn’t accidentally go home with you. Car keys is the customary collateral. Lost finger sticks will be charged to the runner at $40 so please take good care of them.

If you have a GPS watch or a smart phone with a Strava-type tracking app, please bring it so we can add your route to the RouteGadget afterwards!
