Results – Night-O in Black Mountain

We were over the moon to see so many people at our second Night-O in as many months, welcoming back many new faces from last month’s Fjallraven-sponsored event at Highland Brewing Company. Additional, never before seen faces were there, including two new family teams, new friends of friends, and a large contingent of NJROTC cadets from Pisgah High School in Canton. Of course, many repeat offenders were in the crowd last night, too. Thank you to all who came out on a chilly winter night to do some orienteering.

Thanks to your generous donations, we raised $320 for Camp Lake Gap for Autistic Individuals!

There were two available courses, a Scatter course (short and long options) and a Micro-Sprint format that involved completing three short courses with a break between each. Both featured a mass start at 7pm, which was, as always, weirdly anticlimactic with people mostly wandering off in slow motion into the night with their maps.
